SOCIAL EVENTS

Regular social events are held at Sheffield Tapton Hall, and feature local, national and international DJs and guest instructors. The workshops are held from 8.30 till 9.30pm with social dancing till 2am. The entry price is £10/ £8 NUS on the door.

ZUMBA CLASSES

Zumba involves world dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo with squats and lunges also included. Approximately 14 million people take weekly Zumba classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 185 countries. Ivan Rodrigo Garcia is a licensed Zumba instructor and runs highly successful classes across Sheffield. Classes are £5 and run for an hour.

Salsa Beat Ltd is an energetic dance company that delivers authentic Cuban salsa, rueda and bachata classes, workshops and social nights in Sheffield and Chesterfield. Tuition is led by a qualified and highly experienced Latin dance instructor, Ivan Rodrigo Garcia, who has been teaching in the UK and abroad for over 14 years and has worked alongside some of the most globally renowned professionals in the dance world. ABOUT US

Originally from Mexico, Iván Rodrigo Garcia has been teaching salsa in the UK for over 17 years. He is a UKA ( The United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of dancing) qualified and insured instructor, qualified Zumba instructor and the director of Salsa Beat LTD. Iván has a degree in Arts Management and is also a registered ACLS community dance adult education tutor. He has extensive experience working with all areas of the community, including schools, youth groups, special needs, mental health and learning disability groups and has undergone specialized training in these areas.
